Helping moms regulate themselves - so they can raise emotionally healthy kids without burning out

Hi! I'm Rhonda - registered social worker, parenting coach, homeschool mom of four...and your new parenting bestie who totally gets what it's like to parent a child with big emotions.

After nearly two decades of working in child and family mental health, I've seen what burnout looks like up close. And honestly? I have felt it too. I've walked through the messy middle of parenting kids with big emotions (and honestly still am) - while juggling work, marriage, and the never ending pressure to "get it right".

So if you're here feeling like you're failing, exhausted, or unsure how to help your child without falling apart yourself - I want you to know:

It's not just you. And you're not doing it wrong.

I created the RESTORE Method™ to help moms like you regulate your emotions, set boundaries with love, and finally feel like the steady leader your child needs. Because when you're supported? You don't just survive the hard days - you transform them.

Inside my coaching programs, I combine trauma informed strategies with real-life, mom-to-mom approach. I won't had you a one-size-fits-all script - I will walk beside you as we figure out what actually works for you and your child.

You don't need to be perfect.

You just need tools, support, and someone in your corner.

I'd love to be that for you!

My Story

Honestly, I never planned to become a parent coach. For almost 20 years, I have worked as a therpist in child and family mental health - supporting kids and parents through some of the most painful and overwhelming season of their lives.

But somewhere along the way...

I became that mom too.

The one whose kid was melting down at home, anxious in social situations, or shutting down completely.

The one trying to hold it all together - for everyone.

The one who knew exactly what to say to her clients...but couldn't always access it in her own chaos.

That disconnect made me realize something big was missing. Because I realized something no one was saying out loud:

Moms aren't just "support systems" for their kids mental health.

We are whole humans with emotional needs of our own. And we can't pour from a nervous system that's fried.

And the deeper I got into my therapy work, the clearere it became:

Most therapists are trained to focus only on the child - they rarely assess the entire family system, and more rarely ask how the mother is coping. In many cases parents aren't included in treatment at all.

But here's the thing:

Kids can't practice coping skills in a vacuum.

They need a safe, regulated adult modeling what calm looks and feels like in the real world. And moms - especially the ones doing all the heavy lifting - need support and confidence, not guilt, to guide their kids through the hard stuff.

So I pivoted into a space where I could offer what moms actually need:

  • Real tools

  • Relatable support

  • A trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent framework that helps you restore yourself while supporting your child.

That's how the RESTORE Method™ was born, a program that teaches moms to regulate, reconnect, and respond - instead of react - during even the hardest parenting moments. And that's why I do this work.

Because not mom should feel like she's failing her child - especially not when she's already giving everything she has.
